Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is a program that teaches girls in grades 3-5 about self-respect and a healthy lifestyle through an innovative program that combines training for a 3.1 mile run/walk race. The program promotes individual achievement and self –confidence. Girls gain self-esteem and learn healthy lifestyle habits while training for a 5K run/walk race.
Girls on the Run will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45-4:15pm
September 11 - First Meeting
November 15 - Last Meeting
No meeting on Thursday, Oct. 11 (Conferences)
5K run/walk race day - Sunday, Nov. 11 (morning)
Other important info:
Fee: $95- includes 20 practices, 5K entry for girls, and a t-shirt.
Maximum number of students in club: 25
