Stellar students sell starcups to staff for project

Congratulations to Kari Sorvig at Stellar Elementary for engaging her students in a new way!

"I have recently started a class business with my SSN students. I received a Jane Goodall Roots and Shoots grant for this project. We sell beverages to the staff at my school. We had to research what type of beverages our staff would want and develop a google form for ordering. The students then deliver the beverages and collect the money for the beverage. This project has given my students a sense of accomplishment and empowerment and makes them much more visible in our school community. Our business runs twice a month and is called Stellar Starcups."
