My name is Susanne Fellwock and I am a proud K-12 product of the Adams 12 Five Star Schools. I began working in the BASE programs my junior year of high school as a High School Aide and worked my way up to the Coordinator position before graduating from Metropolitan State College in 2000 with a minor in Reading, a major in Behavioral Science, and my K-6 Teaching License. In 2005 I received my masters in Curriculum Design and Instruction and in 2011 I received my ESL Endorsement. I love learning and growing to be the best teacher I can be for each student that comes through my classroom.
Teaching has always been my dream career and where my heart is and I cannot think of a better career than helping shape our future. After 12 years of being in 4th and 5th grade, I moved to 1st grade for the 2013-2014 school year for my 7th year here at Stellar Elementary. I am now enjoying teaching 1st grade for the seventh year and I love it! This will be my 19h year teaching and I am so excited to start the year with your child to watch them grow and learn.
I believe that the primary grades are where the passion for learning begins. It is my hope to build communities each year, that form strong relationships of life-long learners. These life life-long learners will develop a love of learning that will stay with them through-out their education experience in order to reach their dreams and goals of what they dream to be when they grow up.
